Sonja Morgan has lost control over her 3-year-old Chapter 11 case when the bankruptcy judge appointed Ian J. Gazes as her Chapter 11 trustee.
Hannibal Pictures, Inc sued Sonja and her production company Sonja Productions LLC in 2006, claiming that she broke a contract by failing to produce the funding for a John Travolta film that was never made.
In September 2009 with the judge awarding Hannibal pictures a $7 million verdict.
Now the Chapter 11 trustee has the power to sell all of Sonja’s assets. Sonja does retain the power to file a plan detailing how she will pay creditors. But the last two plans she filed were rejected.
Maybe she can move in with reality star Bethenny, who claims she has $120 million! I MEAN
