Following the lead of Anderson Cooper, Sam Champion and Thomas Roberts, Weekend TODAY anchor Jenna Wolfe came out of the closet this morning, announcing she’s expecting her first child with her partner – who also works at NBC News as a correspondent.
“I’m actually pregnant — I’m quite pregnant, actually! My girlfriend Stephanie and I, who works here at NBC, we’re expecting a baby girl in the end of August,” Jenna told Matt Lauer on the set of The Today Show.
In PEOPLE’s new issue, Wolfe says pregnancy “I don’t want to bring my daughter into a world where I’m not comfortable telling everyone who I am and who her mother is.”
I know from first hand experience, you will not find a nicer bunch of people working anywhere in the World than at this great show.
Jenna and Stephanie have been together for three years.
