An orphaned kangaroo named Doodlebug hugs his teddy bear on the property of wildlife rescuer Gillian Abbott in Australia.
“Doodlebug” the ‘roo was found at the side of a road in New South Wales, southeastern Australia.
“We don’t know whether his mother had died either through a car accident or a dog attack, or whether he was simply abandoned,” said Tim Beshara, whose mother runs a small rescue center which is caring for Doodlebug.
“The kangaroo will lay in the grass next to the teddy, will cuddle the teddy and even practice his kicking against the teddy,” Beshara told CBS.
