Kate Middleton keeps her cool when her heel becomes stuck in a grate while attending a St Patrick’s Day parade.
Leaning on her Prince, Kate proves that even Royals are not exempt from the embarrassment of getting their shoe caught in a drain. Gallant Prince William gave his pregnant wife a helping hand as she forced her shoe free, but could not help having a little laugh as she tried to retrieve her shoe.
Dressed appropriately in green for the St Patrick’s Day Parade in Aldershot, Kate wore the same coat last year, the funny incident was completed by the soldier who continued to salute the Royal couple as Kate had to bend down to force her heel from the grate.
Inside the Barracks, the Duchess spoke with guardsman Lee Wheeler.
“I asked her do you know if it’s a girl or a boy and she said not yet,” Wheeler, 29, said. “She said ‘I’d like to have a boy and William would like a girl.’ I asked her if she had any names and she said no.”
