Does Brad Pitt want to be a real-life pirate? Is he preparing for a role in a new Pirates of the Caribbean movie? – Well Johnny Depp doesn’t need to get too worried yet.
Brad Pitt decided to surprise the family recently when he purchased a 75ft schooner for £5 million (about $7.6 million USD). Pitt had the cash laying around from his recent sale of a lot of wine…the whole vineyard, actually.
A source tell’s to The Sun: “Brad’s always wanted a classic sail yacht and this one is perfect. It sleeps eight but you can have more on board if you are just going out for a day.
“He loves the idea of taking the kids out around the islands along the coast of the South of France near St Tropez.”
It’s being said that when he’s not pretending to be Jack Sparrow, Pitt plans to charter the magnificent yacht, with the help of Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen.
Hopefully Brad will invite us out for an afternoon sail on his yacht!
