This morning on The Today Show, Hoda Kotb confessed her love for the new man in her life, Blake. No, not Blake Shelton, although that’s who he is named after.
The Today Show had 10 of the cutest dogs on last week to help them find loving homes, and Hoda couldn’t help but offer one to a 3-month-old male cockapoo.
She just spent the first weekend with the pup and was so excited to tell us all about it this morning.
“He’s the coolest dog ever, and I’m learning the drill,” said Hoda, who’s learning to crate-train her new dog.
As with most new pet owners, Hoda wanted to give the dog a name of her choosing. (Fluffy? Toto? Rob?)
Since Hoda has a celeb-crush on Blake Shelton, she decided to use his name so she’ll never be far from Blake. “My mom did NOT want me to name him Blake. She felt it was too stalker-ish. But after Blake called in, I had no choice,” Hoda tells Naughty But Nice Rob.
“I love this dog, Kath,” she gushed to KLG Monday morning. “He’s the absolute best dog ever.”
Which begs the question… Hoda, what is it like to have your man on a leash? (Woof!)
