Bob Saget Reveals Text He Sent Lori Loughlin Before Her Prison Sentence! Following her arrest in the spring of 2019 for her involvement in the college admissions scam, Lori Loughlin was let go from her starring role on Netflix’s Full House reboot Fuller House. Despite her ousting from the show, Loughlin’s co-stars have rallied around her throughout her legal troubles. While chatting with Page Six, Bob Saget shared a heartfelt text message he sent to Loughlin before her sentencing.
“I love you and thinking of you, that’s all,” Saget’s text to Loughlin read. “And you know when it gets down to it, there’s so much going on and so many people have gone through so much and you know, if you love somebody then you have to make that, decision and [ask yourself] is this something that causes me not to love a person and I love her. She’s a sweetheart.”
Saget isn’t the only Fuller House star who has remained loyal to Loughlin, either. Back in May, Dave Coulier discussed Loughlin’s situation with Us Weekly. Coulier told the outlet that the “[Fuller House cast’ love her dearly.” He also shared that filming the fifth and final season of Fuller House “didn’t feel right” without her and was “really sad” for the whole cast.
During an appearance on the Today Show in 2019, Candace Cameron Bure publicly defended Loughlin, as well. “We are family, and we stand by each other and pray for each other, and we’ll always be there for each other,” Bure said.
Loughlin was sentenced to two months in prison for her involvement in the bribery scam. In addition to her two month prison sentence, Loughlin will have to pay a hefty fine, serve community service hours and be under supervised release.
