Backstreet Boys Confirm Vegas Residency, New Music
20 years after releasing their first album, the Backstreet Boys have confirmed that they have so much more to give their fans.
ET spoke to Nick Carter who confirms the group is looking forward to a Las Vegas residency.
“If it does really well, then I think that’ll open that door and then in future we’ll do it.
“So that’s definitely going to happen but we’re going to do a trial run first.”
Carter said fans can expect “a very big and spectacular show” with all the Backstreet Boys hits — and all five of the band members.
Carter’s bandmate Kevin Richardson adds:
“It seemed really convenient for the family!
“A Vegas residency, now that we’re all fathers, could be very convenient for us… We won’t have to travel so much.”
New music is also on the way! Richardson adds:
“We’re definitely in the studio recording a brand new album.”
Rumors of a tour with fellow 90s pop icons, The Spice Girls abound. In response, Carter says:
“We put the invitation out there and the girls just gotta figure it all out.”
