“I think I want to be a politician,” Cardi wrote. “I really love government even tho I don’t agree with [Government].” She added, “Like I was watching War.No matter how many weapons a country have you need people ! How are you trying to go against a country and possibly start a war when this country lacks patriotism? I barely see people claiming they LOVE being American.”
The idea to give up her rap career to seek an office in government is not one she’s thinking about lightly. Cardi went on to say that she plans to do a video or livestream to explain more. “So imma come back to my last two tweets another day.Imma talk about it another day,” she wrote.
The “Writing On The Wall” rapper additionally noted that she would be willing to go back to school to get more knowledgable so she can one day “be part of Congress.”
“i do feel like if I go back to school and focus up I can be part of Congress,” she shared. “I deada** have sooo much ideas that make sense.I just need a couple of years of school and I can shake the table .”
As fans know, Cardi has always been vocal about political beliefs. Back in August, she even sat down with Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders to discuss student debt, wages, taxes, jobs, Donald Trump and more ahead of the 2020 presidential race.
