NMIXX, K-pop’s hottest new group which just formed this year and has already experienced hundreds of millions of streams, dropped by the Fantoo booth last Sunday at KCON LA held at the Crypto.com Arena for a fan meet and greet.
Much to the surprise of the thousands of screaming fans who showed up for a glimpse of their favorite band, the girls from NMIXX decided to name the Fantoo mascot which had been a favorite all weekend among the attendees at the sold out KCON Convention. After several of the band members shouted out their suggestions and then waited for the audience response, the final name was determined by the crowd’s loud cheering which singer Lilly seemed really pleased by!
Fantoo, the only social media app that allows K-pop fans to interact with their favorite bands and other fans alike, had a successful showing at their first KCON appearance this year. Their booth which was the most visited one at the convention, featured a spinning wheel for prizes, a mini video recording studio for fans to send messages and several games related to the Korean Netflix hit show “Squid Game” including the beanbag throw down a wild game of Red Light Green Light that the fans went nuts for. Thousands of new fans signed up for the platform joining the hundreds of thousands who already use the app on a daily basis. Look out for Fantoo in the near future as they have plans to present at KCON NY as well as Comic Con NY in the Fall.ORDER A COPY OF ROB’S NEW BEST SELLING BOOK!
