Kevin Costner’s estranged wife hit back at the “Yellowstone” star’s claims that she stripped “the house bare” amid their bitter divorce.
Christine Baumgartner filed new legal documents in which she states an emergency hearing over their belongings is unnecessary, as she claims she provided Costner’s attorney with “pictures of the items she plans to remove.’
A hearing to ensure she didn’t “strip the house bare” is “uncalled for,” she states.
Last Friday, a judge ruled that the former handbag designer must have a discussion with the “Field of Dreams” star before taking any property from their Santa Barbara, Calif., estate.
However, in her new filing, Baumgartner explains that she rented an off-site storage unit in preparation for her move and already has stored her Peloton bike, family heirlooms, clothing and keepsakes from friends.
She also moved silverware, pots, pans and some swivel chairs to her storage unit, and is requesting a “mother/daughter horse picture” from the now-former couple’s Aspen, Colo., estate.
Costner and Baumgartner’s battle over their personal items is the latest in their contentious divorce.
A judge also ruled in Baumgartner’s favor in terms of child support, having ordered Costner to pay $129,755 per month.
