Kim Cattrall is opening up about the realities of aging in Hollywood.
“Speaking for me, a woman in her 60s that is, I think the biggest challenge is to continue to be relevant, to work, to be able to convey a message, to be relevant,” Cattrall, 67, told Vogue Greece
“I have always had my mother as a role model,” Cattrall explained. “Although she could never connect with a job that would make her happy, and was depressed and alone for long periods of time, she never lost her stubbornness.”
Kim, who celebrated her 67th birthday earlier this month, surprised fans when she recently reprised her role as Samantha Jones on the season 2 finale
Jimmy Kimmel Was Close to Retiring and Stephen Colbert Has an Ex-Nicaraguan Dictator’s Pants
Jimmy Kimmel revealed he was just about to retire before the Writers Guild of America strike started on the first episode of Strike Force Five, their new podcast with fellow late-night hosts Jimmy Fallon, John Oliver, Seth Meyers and Stephen Colbert.
During the conversation, Kimmell asked his co-hosts if they were “getting stir crazy” and eager to return to work amidst the ongoing strike (Strike Force Five is donating all its proceeds to striking writers).
Kimmel insisted he was considering retirement — and even noted he’d told some of his fellow co-hosts about his intentions in private — Fallon joked that no one really took him seriously.
