Madonna was found unresponsive and rushed to a New York City hospital Saturday.
Madonna, 64, was intubated for at least one night before having the tube removed — and she is now alert and recovering.
Her daughter Lourdes was by her side throughout the ordeal.
Madonna’s longtime manager, Guy Oseary, shared that his client had “developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several day stay in the ICU.”
Madonna is now “out of the ICU,” Oseary explained but she is still under medical care.
“A full recovery is expected.”
Madonna just celebrated her 10-year-old twins’ graduation from elementary school.
This is the 40th anniversary of her music career.
Her new concert was to kick off July 15 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver and run through Jan. 30, 2024., but Oseary’s revealed it has been postponed in light of the health scare.
The Grammy winner promised to perform her greatest hits.
Her Sticky & Sweet Tour remains the highest-grossing trek ever by a female artist.
