Pete Davidson told the audience at Madison Square Garden — where he was warming up for Dave Chappelle — that he’s been using the famed horse tranquilizer of late.
The longtime party drug was approved by the Food and Drug Administration as a nasal spray (which, we’re told, is the way Davidson took it) in 2019, and it’s increasingly common as a way to treat serious depression that hasn’t been improved with more typical drugs.
And Davidson, who has been very open about his mental health issues and his use of medication, seems to have been only too willing to give the experimental treatment a whirl.
His publicist told Page Six: “Pete Davidson is not on ketamine.”
“I’m always depressed, all the time. I have to constantly bring myself out of it,” he told Charlamagne tha God in a YouTube interview last year. “I wake up depressed.”
