Prince Harry seemingly gave weight to the rumor that his friendship with David Beckham is over after he awkwardly sped past the soccer player’s eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham.
In a video posted to Twitter, the Duke of Sussex was quickly escorted by his bodyguards right past the aspiring chef and his wife, Nicola Peltz, while at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles.
Harry was en route to his $9,000-a-night VIP suite to view the Los Angeles Football Club play against Inter Miami — notably co-owned by David.
At one point, the “Spare” author glanced over at Brooklyn and Peltz but didn’t appear to give any acknowledgment to his suspected former friend’s son.
It is unclear if both parties spotted each other in the hallway and actively chose to not engage or if this was a matter of the groups simply not realizing they were crossing paths.
The seemingly awkward close encounter didn’t help dispel rumors of trouble inside Harry, 38, and wife Meghan Markle’s close inner circle.
A source told the Daily Mail in July that the former soccer star was “absolutely bloody furious” at Harry and Markle after the couple accused the Beckhams of leaking stories about them to the press.
