Tom Cruise and son Connor made a rare appearance together in New York City Saturday.
Tom and his 28-year-old son, whom he shares with ex-wife Nicole Kidman, stepped out in the big apple for a promotional event for Tom’s upcoming film “Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning.”
The actor’s sister Lee Mapother also tagged along with the father-son duo.
Tom, 61, also shares daughter Isabella with Kidman, 56, whom he was married to from 1990 to 2001.
They adopted Isabella and Connor in 1992 and 1995, respectively.
Connor appears to enjoy fishing and playing golf in Florida. He also avoids posting photos of his A-list parents on his social media.
Isabella, who goes by Bella, also stays relatively under the radar. She moved from Los Angeles to live with her husband, Max Parker, in London.
In 2018, Kidman made a rare statement about her relationship with her children.
“I’m very private about all that. I have to protect all those relationships. I know 150 percent that I would give up my life for my children because it’s what my purpose is.”
She also remarked on her children’s decision to pursue Scientology like their father. The actress left the church in the ’90s.
“They are able to make their own decisions. They have made choices to be Scientologists and as a mother, it’s my job to love them,” she said, adding that Connor and Isabella are “adults.”
Meanwhile, Tom also shares daughter Suri, 17, with ex-wife Katie Holmes.
Tom and Suri have been estranged for some time.
The insider said Tom had not seen his youngest daughter in a very long time and that he was not a part of her life.
