Zahara Jolie-Pitt is taking pride in her last name — well, one of them.
When Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s daughter declared herself during this week’s Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority induction ceremony, she shouted, “Zahara Marley Jolie.”
The 18-year-old noticeably left out the second half of her last name during the introduction, seemingly shading Pitt.
Social media users called attention to the apparent diss via Twitter.
“I wasn’t gonna say anything, but I definitely peeped that Zahara left Pitt off her last name,” one wrote.
Another pointed out, “Oh Zahara said her last name is Jolie, not Jolie-Pitt.”
The actor did not “deserve a mention” in the milestone moment, according to a third user.
The fan praised “single” mom Jolie, gushing, “Zahara shouting her last name ‘Jolie’ with all her might and stopping is so pleasing to me, we love to see it.”
Others noted Us Weekly’s previous reporting claiming that Maddox, the former couple’s 22-year-old son, “doesn’t use Pitt as his last name on documents that aren’t legal and instead uses Jolie.”
