Barbara Walters has just made it very clear that only Joy Behar is leaving The View. Joy was not fired or push, it was Joy’s decision. And Elizabeth Hasselbeck is NOT getting fire or pushed out of The View either.
Elizabeth Hasselbeck IS NOT leaving or getting fired. Barbara went out of her way to say they appreciate Elizabeth’s views.
“We love Elisabeth,” Barbara said. “We value and appreciate her point of view. It helps give the show perspective. We have no plans for Elisabeth to leave this show.”
Walter’s, meanwhile, called Behar’s decision to leave this summer “bittersweet.”
Elizabeth did not respond during Barbara’s announcement. She’s been with the show since 2003. However, it should be noted that Bab’s carefully worded statement did not say Elizabeth was not thinking of leaving!
