Sacha Baron Cohen is busy taking singing lessons to play the late, great Freddie Mercury in a new film.
The movie is slated to start filming later this years and it is still undecided if Sacha will sing or use the voice of the legendary performer himself.
“Sacha is really doing his research for the part,” one producer tells Naughty But Nice Rob. “He has been watching hours and hours of Queen concert footage and has even been given access to private videos of Freddie that have never been seen before. He is a huge Queen fan and want’s to be totally believable as Freddie.”
Queen guitarist Brian May said that Sacha is “the driving force” on the film project.
