Bill Murray Throws Fans’ Phones Off a Roof After Catching Them Taking Photos of Him
Not cool, Bill Murray.
The comedian was under investigation by police after he allegedly threw several fans’ cellphones off a restaurant rooftop. When three fans began taking photos him at the Vesuvio restaurant in Carmel, Calif. on Thursday night (Feb. 11, 2016), he got so angry that he took their phones and threw them off the second story rooftop.
According police, by the time the officers arrived at the restaurant, Murray had already left the premises. However, TMZ reports that no one has pressed charges, and that the actor has apparently offered to pay for damages. If we’ve learned anything today, it’s that we will never take a photo of Bill Murray unless we have his permission to do so. It also proves that celebrities are just humans after all — and flashing phones are super annoying.
