Chris has been spending quite a bit of time with Royalty but we have spoken to a family attorney who tells us that he has no legal rights to Royalty even though he is the birth father and that’s because his name isn’t on the birth certificate!
LA Family attorney Mychal Wilson explains to Hollywoodlife.com:
“Chris Brown’s name is not on the birth certificate, instead Brazil Riesling (aka King Ba) is listed as the Father, so the latter has legal rights to the child. Arguably, because Chris Brown is not listed on the birth certificate he has no rights to custody, visitation, or paying child support.
However, the DNA tests show that Chris Brown is the biological father so he could go to court and fight to get his name on the birth certificate. However, he is allegedly negotiating with Nia Guzman outside of court to be recognized at the legal father of Royalty. Bottom line is that money speaks and Chris Brown will have to pay out to be legally recognized instead of going to court, which he probably loathes considering his past history with the judicial system.
