Bruce Jenner will be on the cover of Vanity Fair this summer showing off transition from male to female, but not before serious negotiations took place!
“This has been in the planning stages for months. People magazine had been working hard to get Bruce to go with them, in the end he chose Vanity Fair,” a top publishing source tells NAUGHTY GOSSIP. “What attracted Bruce to Vanity Fair was longtime VF contributor and photographer behind the controversial Kimye Vogue cover Annie Leibovitz.”
“He wants the first ‘official’ image of her to be beautiful and no-one can do that better than Annie. People magazine do amazing cover shoots but they just don’t have the budgets or resources that Vanity Fair does. He also is looking forward to playing dress-up for a day with the best hair and makeup people in the business. Vanity Fair insist on approval on hair and makeup teams and have access to the best professionals in the world.”
The Vanity Fair cover will coincide with an 8-part docu-series chronicling Jenner’s journey, premiering July 26, at 9 p.m. ET on E!
