Jessica Simpson’s new memoir is officially out now and a NY Times #1 bestseller. Yes! A #1 bestseller, and rightfully so. Jessica really opens up in the book and leaves no secrets untold. In the book Jessica is revealing all the juicy secrets about her marriage and divorce from former boy-bander Nick Lachey.
If you were a huge fan of “Newlyweds” like I was then you saw the chemistry and initial love these two had for each other. Ultimately the pair didn’t work out, announcing their split in 2005, just three years after they were married. One tidbit Jessica reveals in the book is that her and Nick continued to hook up after their split. Some might find this shocking, but I’m here to tell you it’s fairly normal. It’s easier to go back with someone you’re comfortable with than find someone new. You most likely spent years with this person, you know everything about them. You know what they like and what they dislike and hopefully the same in reverse. Finding a new connection, especially intimately is hard, which is why more couples than not continue to hookup after a breakup. So don’t worry if this is happening to you, it’s totally normal and ok.
