EXCLUSIVE: Nick Cannon Plot To Replace Wendy

Nick Cannon’s new talk show has the folks around Wendy Williams very nervous that he is looking to replace her.

“Wendy’s show has only been renewed for another two seasons and after that Nick Cannon is planning to take her spot,” sources tell STRAIGHT SHUTER. “When Wendy was taking time off to get better, Nick filled in for her a few times and was a huge success. His ratings were good, and he is a natural at this. While everyone was focused on Jerry O replacing Wendy, Nick signed a deal behind her back with her producers Lionsgate’s Debmar-Mercury. This was sneaky and she knows exactly what is going on.”

However, those that are counting Wendy out, shouldn’t be so sure. The Wendy Williams Show returned for its 12th season premiere and climbing a whopping 33% over the testing of the Jerry O show, that replaced her for 6 week.

“Poor Jerry’s show is dead, and Wendy isn’t going anywhere without a fight,” TV sources add. “Wendy is the Queen of TV, not Nick Cannon.”
