Tyler Perry said he has spoken to Jussie Smollett just after he was charged with a felony for allegedly filing a false report claiming two men attacked him in a hate crime. However, Tyler isn’t talking anymore.
“At the premiere of his final ‘Madea’ movie the press was strictly told that Mr. Perry would be walking the red carpet and answering, ‘no personal questions.’ He would only be giving interviews about the film and nothing related to Jussie,” insiders tell STRAIGHT SHUTER. “Anyone who broke the rules, would be asked to leave the event.”
“Like most celebrities, Tyler doesn’t want to get involved in this Smollett disaster until after all the evidence is revealed,” adds a close pal.
