Beyoncé has just been named honorary chair of the upcoming Met Institute Costume Gala on May 6 – the Oscars of Fashion, expect harder to get invited too.
A rep from the Met confirm to Naughty But Nice Rob that Beyoncé will joins a number of high-profile co-chairs to kick off this year’s Punk themed event. However, no-matter how many co-chairs have been named it’s it Vogue’s Editors In Chiefs – Anna Wintour’s – party.
“Anna has never been as fan of reality stars and certainly isn’t a fan of Kim’s,” reveals one fashion insider. “Kim would love to be included in anything that Vogue does but never gets an invite. Hopefully, with Beyoncé involved this year, things might change.”
