Mark Salling Fired From “Gods And Secrets” Movie After Child Porn Indictment

Disgraced ex-“Glee” star Mark Salling has been fired from his starring role in “Adi Shankar’s Gods and Secrets,” days after authorities officially slapped him with child-porn charges.

Shankar, who had previously vowed to ax the actor’s scenes if the bombshell allegations turned out to be true, told the Daily News Tuesday that his superhero project would be “moving forward without Mark Salling.”

“He has been cut from the miniseries, I will personally be paying for the reshoots, and I hope that Mark finds inner peace,” the director said in a statement, adding that a portion of the project’s proceeds would go to a charity benefiting abused children.

“Hopefully some good will come of all of this and I pray that when the dust has settled, the hyper-connectivity of the information age that has brought to light the transgressions of several public figures, will also force us to look within our society to identify and eliminate the root cause of the rape culture we exist in,” he continued.

Shankar was “flooded with agent phone calls” Tuesday morning, but has yet to cast a replacement in Salling’s role, he added to The News in an email. The project also stars Denise Richards, Jane Seymour, “Breaking Bad” alum RJ Mitte and “Twilight” hunk Kellan Lutz.
