The incredible shape-shifting actor, Christian Bale, has once again bulked up as he sports a stockier frame on set of his new movie set to start filming in Boston.
In the past the actor famously went from 121 lbs, to play emaciated insomniac Trevor Reznik in The Machinist, before bulking up to 180 lbs again for Batman Begins in just six weeks.
“I was ignoring advice about taking it slowly because my stomach had shrunk, and I should just go with soups,” he said at the time. ‘I was straight into pizza and ice-cream and eating five meals in a sitting. My stomach expanded really quickly. I got very sick during that time but I enjoyed getting sick. I didn’t mind it at all.
The very private actor shielded his face with a baseball cap as he left his trailer, but could be seen showcasing slightly longer hair and facial fuzz as he gets set to work on set alongside co-star Bradley Cooper.
