Last night, Wednesday, the hottest ticket in town was the opening of Bette Midler’s play ‘I’ll Eat You Last.’ The Naughty But Nice Rob team attended and caught up with guest Kathy Griffin!
NBNROB: I actually think Kim Kardashian is a genius wearing all these unflattering clothes. She’s being photographed even more now.
KATHY: “I can’t say Kim Kardashian is a genius in any way because I’m surrounded by genius. Susan Sarandon, there’s a Weinstein (Harvey) over there. Weinstein they’re asking me about genius and the definition of genius. (Harvey calls out, ‘You’) There you go that’s all I wanted him to say. In retrospect maybe we’ll think it’s genius but right now I think it’s called pomp and circumstance, I realize those are expressions from the 20’s.”
NBNROB: Who’s on your pop culture radar right now?
KATHY: “Biebs is the gift that keeps going, Britney isn’t going anywhere, she’s always fascinating and so is Oprah. She’s always doing something and making news and even though I make fun of her, I really love her and admire her and I just make fun of her because I don’t think she knows why she’s funny but that’s where I come in.”
