American Idol has hit its worst ratings EVER this season. But no one has the nerve to tell that to Mariah Carey.
“Everyone has been told that if Mariah asks they should respond by saying the show is bigger than ever,” one young show insider tells Naughty But Nice Rob. “Mariah wants to believe that she is bringing in more viewers than Jennifer Lopez did – so that is what we tell her.”
Mariah would not be the first celebrity to believe the information her handlers tell her, but hasn’t she ever Goggled herself?
“Mariah isn’t very tech savvy, which is great for us,” adds one insider. “If you tell her she is part of the biggest show in America, them Mariah will believe that she is part of the biggest show in America.”
