Ben Affleck received a doctor of fine arts degree from the Rhode Island Ivy League school at commencement exercises on Sunday.
Last month, Affleck’s long-time friend and collaborator Matt Damon received the 2013 Harvard Arts Medal. In reference to Damon’s medal, Affleck told the crowd, “This is a spectacular honor for me. Not only for the education, but I now surpass Matt Damon.”
