This “Jeopardy!” Contestant’s Confusion When He Learns That Log Cabin Republicans Exist

A contestant on Tuesday night’s episode of Jeopardy! was completely perplexed when he had to come up with the name for the largest LGBT rights group within the GOP.

When contestant Dan chose the category “Leaning Conservative,” Republican political pundit S.E. Cupp appeared on screen to give the clue, saying, “Although I’m politically conservative, I support same-sex marriage as part of a group of Republicans dating back from 1977 and named for this structure.”

The correct answer is Log Cabin Republicans, but from Dan’s facial expression, it’s pretty clear he was surprised to learn that such a group exists.
