Life is just a reality show for singer Clay Aiken.
The “American Idol” alum’s failed bid for Congress will be featured in a four-hour “documentary” series to air on the Esquire cable television network early next year, it was announced Wednesday.
Aiken, running as a Democrat, lost to incumbent Republican Rep. Renee Ellmbers 59% to 41%.
Tuesday’s election was not the first time Aikein finished second. In 2003, he was the runner up to Ruben Studdard in the second season of “American Idol,” and in the 2012 season of “Celebrity Apprentice,” he lost to Arsenio Hall.
