Before her performance, Mario Lopez presented Jennifer Lopez with a humanitarian award for her work with the Lopez Family Foundation, which helps bring medical care to children around the globe.
Andrea Bocelli agreed to David Foster’s unexpected request on stage to sing a rendition of Elvis Presley’s ‘Love me Tender.’ Bocelli also performed some of his greatest hits, including ‘Time to Say Goodbye’ and ‘Funicoli Funicola,’ while funny man Steve Martin performed with the bluegrass band the Steep Canyon Rangers, which Billy Crystal playfully mocked on stage as ‘the type of music you hear when you have bloodhounds chasing you.’
