Michael Jackson’s daughter, Paris Jackson, spent her 15th birthday on Wednesday with her birth mother, Debbie Rowe .
Debbie signed away all parental rights when she split with the singer but it was Paris that wanted to spend time with her.
A source close to the family told The Sun: “The two just hung out. They’ve gotten really tight.”
Debbie was married to the King of Pop in November 1996, three months before the birth of their son, Prince, now 16. Paris was born just over a year later.
When they divorced in 1999 Debbie signed custody over to the singer as part of her £6.5 million (roughly $10 million USD) deal.
In Martin Bashir’s 2003 documentary Debbie admitted that she had entered into the pregnancy as a business deal saying; “My kids don’t call me Mom because I don’t want them to. They’re Michael’s children. It’s not that they are not my children, but I had them because I wanted him to be a father.”
