Miami Mom Arrested After Showing Up at Her Teen Daughter’s School to Help Fight Her Enemy: HELP
A Miami mother was arrested for fighting her daughter’s rival. Not only did the mom show up at the high school to lay hands on the girl, but she also took an ax to the teenager’s car prior to getting locked up.
Ernstlatta LaFrance (above, left) was arrested after she showed up to Carol City Senior High School to confront a female student who had gotten into a fight with her daughter.
Police said LaFrance, 30, knocked a cell phone out the student’s hand and then hit her several times.
LaFrance left the school, but the fight was far from over, Miami Herald reports.
The victim then went to LaFrance’s home trying to get her cell phone back.
That’s when LaFrance attacked the girl again breaking her middle finger. Authorities said the mom also grabbed an ax and destroyed the teen girl’s car.
LaFrance’s girlfriend, Erlisa Evans (above, right), also got involved in the incident and came outside firing gun shots into the air.
After the beat down, LaFrance posted a video of the fight on Facebook and warned her daughter’s rival about messing with her child.
“The defendant also bragged on Facebook telling the victim that suffering two black eyes was not the end and she would use a gun,” an officer wrote in a police report.
According to the report, the entire fiasco started after LaFrance’s daughter and a group of girls got into a fight at a county fair.
LaFrance was arrested and faces a number of charges including child abuse, aggravated battery and strong-armed robbery. She’s being held at Miami-Dade’s Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center on a $38,000 bond.
Evans, 28, was also arrested and faces charges of firing a gun in public and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
