The Beach Boys will finally be immortalized in a new film about the young boy band that changed music forever. Their songs provided the soundtrack of summer for years to come.
The movie stars Paul Dano, Kenny Wormald, Brett Davern, Graham Rogers and Jake Abel as the iconic band members.
According to IMDB, the film, entitled Love & Mercy, covers “the life of reclusive Beach Boys songwriter and musician Brian Wilson, from his successes with highly-influential orchestral pop albums to his nervous breakdown and subsequent encounter with controversial therapist Dr. Eugene Landy.”
The film also stars John Cusack, Elizabeth Banks and Paul Giamatti.
The cast was spotted filming on the beach in Malibu Tuesday, playing around in the ocean and enjoying some fun in the sun in their retro outfits.
