‘You should be able to put a ring on it!’ Beyonce says altering the Single Ladies lyrics to support gay marriage
Beyonce had a clever way of showing her support for marriage equality by posting a handwritten note on her Facebook page altering the lyrics to her 2008 hit song, Single Ladies.
‘If you like it you should be able to put a ring on it,’ the 31-year-old pop diva wrote along with the hashtag: ‘WeWillUniteForMarriageEquality.’
The singer then added: ‘It’s about TIME!!! #EQUALITY #MarryWhoYouLove’
