Chelsea Handler made headlines for publicly bashing Angelina Jolie long before she became best friends with Jennifer Aniston. But now the 38-year-old host of Chelsea Lately refuses to cut her a break, even after she revealed she had a double mastectomy.
“Chelsea still thinks she’s a demon,” one friend of Chelsea’s tells Naughty But Nice Rob. “Chelsea has been saying what she thinks about Angie forever. She isn’t going to change her opinion now.”
Angelina discussed her health scare in the New York Times op-ed, leading The New Yorker to declare that this “is what celebrity is for.” The actress is also landed the cover of Time magazine, with the headline – “The Angelina Effect,” after her stunning announcement.
“As a woman, I know when you see somebody walking across the room that’s a bad girl. I just don’t like Angelina Jolie. I don’t think she’s a girl’s girl. I like girl’s girls!” Chelsea has said in the past. “She just doesn’t come off to me as a sincere woman. She seems like a woman that you’d really want to avoid.”
Well, there is no avoiding Angie this week, Chelsea.
