Mark Lipton, professor, veteran progressive C-suite adviser and author of Mean Men: The Perversion of America’s Self-Made Man (September 5 2017)

Lipton is a graduate professor of management at The New School in New York City. For over forty years, he has been a trusted adviser to Fortune 500 corporations, think tanks, nonprofits, international NGOs, and start-ups. His work with CEOs has inspired his writing for the Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan Management Review, and Journal of Management Consulting, as well as his book Guiding Growth: How Vision Keeps Companies on Course [Harvard Business Review Press, 2003].

Lipton holds a PhD from the School of Management at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. He splits his time between New York City and western Massachusetts, and serves on several boards, including Isabella Geriatric Center, Austen Riggs Center, AchieveMission, and SPRAT Artistic Ensemble.
