John Krasinski wife Emily Blunt HATES his new body.
John Krasinski has a new movie coming out, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, about the Annex Security Team members who defended the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi. (The film also stars Mr. Toby Stephens *swoon*) John got a new body for the role, working out twice a day with trainer Jason Walsh, the same guy who got BCoop into shape for his Beige Booty Shorts. John told Colbert, “It’s real work, too. I thought it would be like, ‘Yeah, let’s eat a couple Power Bars and do push-ups.’ And he was like, ‘No. It’s going to be a living hell for six to eight weeks.’” Of course he gets asked about his new physique everywhere and a picture is brought out to emphasize the difference between Jim Halpert from The Office and Jack Silva from 13 Hours. Whereas many people are happy to gaze upon his lean muscular frame and rock solid abs for hours at a time, not everyone in John’s life is so thrilled, as John explained on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert:
Krasinski, 36, recently underwent a complete body transformation in order to get himself in shape to play a Navy SEAL in his upcoming movie 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi. The actor shed 21 percent of his total body fat over the course of four months – and now has the washboard abs to show for it.
But when the actor appeared on The Late Show on Tuesday night, he said his wife, Blunt, “hates” his new look.
“She hates it,” Krasinski joked. “She would way prefer to have doughy guy back.”
“Doughy is a strong word,” host Stephen Colbert said in the actor’s defense.
“No, like sweet-face,” Krasinski clarified.
