Naughty But Nice Rob broke the news that three Real Housewives Of New York have officially been asked -and have accepted – to return to the show.
Ramona Singer, Carole Radziwill and Heather Thomson (whom we don’t remember ever seeing on TV before!) are coming back with, most likely, Sonja Morgan. But the ladies will not just be returning, they will all be returning WITH pay increases.
“Ramona has been with the show since the very beginning and was earing $500,000 a season. She has been offered a very modest pay increase to return. However, the big winners are Carole and Heather who both received $60,000 last season. Now they have been offered an almost 50% pay increase, bringing them up to over $100,000 each,” one producer tells Naughty But Nice Rob. “Sonja Morgan’s deal is still being negotiated, but she too will also be getting a modest pay increase.”
Yet, even with these pay raises, the overall talent costs will decrease as Countess LuAnn, who was earning as much as Ramona, will not be returning.
“Pay rates had very little to do with why anyone was or was not invited back,” reveals one close Bravo source. “The first consideration is what will make the next season great. Then a deal is negotiated and each cast member is very fairly compensated.”
