Now that Janet Jackson has married billionaire businessman Wissam Al Mana the singer has decided to quit show business, move to the Middle East and become a Muslim.
“Janet had a low key private wedding, starting off her new life in the way she plans to continue,” a friend of the Jackson family tells Naughty But Nice Rob. “The couple is spending a lot of time in the Middle East and I cannot see her performing again for a long time.
They even released a statement following the wedding asking that their “privacy is respected and that we are allowed this time for celebration and joy.”
This is marriage number three for Janet. Her union with singer James DeBarge was annulled in 1985 and in 1991, she married Rene Elizondo Jr., but they kept their relationship a secret until their divorce in 2000.
“Janet is done with her career and her family. She has left and I can’t see her coming back anytime soon,” adds another Jackson insider. “She is now a billionaire and becoming a Muslim.”
