Marc Anthony Hoping To Win Back Ex-Wife Jennifer Lopez
Can you really blame the man? Ever since Marc Anthony’s divorce plans with Venezuelan model Shannon De Lima were announced earlier this month, it’s been painfully obvious that the singer wants more than some publicity kisses from his ex-wife.
Now in the new issue of US Weekly a source is revealing that Anthony is “still in love” with Lopez and “trying to get back together with her.”
Though sources tell Us that Anthony’s marriage to De Lima, 28, had long been troubled, the insider says, “As soon as he heard Jennifer split with Casper, he wanted out.”
WOW… Mind you a Lopez source says J.Lo is “happily single” and has “no plans” to get back together with her ex. But the source also concedes, “She did make beautiful music with Marc!”
The pair are currently working together on J.Lo’s Spanish language album and one of US Weekly’s insiders thinks that may be Marc’s way back in.
[They] “have magic when they sing together,” says the pal. “That’s how they came together last time. There is just this chemistry between them.”
Y’all already know Marc thought he was in there like swimwear after the Latin Grammys, where they sang a Spanish duet of “Olvídame y Pega la Vuelta,” and Lopez presented Anthony with the Person of the Year award — which included a speech where she said: “Marc is a living legend. He is a magical and pure artist giving away classics that will stay forever. He will always be many things in my life.”
