Pop and Soul’s hottest duo, David and Devine (Dave Yaden and Candace Devine) rocked the hip Hotel Cafe last night in a rousing concert that was attended by actress Rashida Jones (her Dad is Music Producer Quincy Jones) and music producer and arranger Artie Butler, who has worked with Barbara Streisand and Barry Manilow, and played famous blues piano on Joe Cocker’s “Feeling Alright”
Butler who knows talent when he sees it, said of the duo, “I found myself basking in the glory of the David and Devine show. It’s a real treat to hear music done right…. and do they ever.”
Candace Devine is a powerhouse vocalist and delivers on both soul tunes like their original tunes “Trouble” and the kick ass ballads like “Leave The Light On.” David is a virtuoso piano man who also delivers strong vocals. Look for more on this talented team of songsters.
