First glimpse of Lilibet in Meghan’s birthday video! Meghan
Meghan Markle has given the very first glimpse of her newborn daughter, Lilibet Diana Mounbatten-Windsor, in a video to celebrate her 40th birthday.
In a swift blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment, the camera pans to cute, never-before seen family photos on Meghan’s desk at her swanky Montecito, Calif., mansion — including one of baby Lilibet with her dad, Prince Harry, Page Six has confirmed.
The video shows one large photo of the couple’s red-headed son Archie — now 2 years old and a dead ringer for Harry — as well as three framed smaller black-and-white photos in front.
The center photo shows Harry gently kissing Lili, who has not been seen since her birth at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in June.
Another photo is a family shot, while the third shows Meghan snuggling up to Archie.
The fun 40th birthday video is filled with Easter eggs. Markle’s laptop is propped up on a copies of her kids’ book “The Bench,” while she’s wearing necklaces from LA designer Logan Hollowell — a Taurus constellation in honor of Archie’s birthdate, May 6, 2019, and a Gemini constellation for Lili’s birthdate, June 4, 2021. Meanwhile, one her dogs, Guy, is lying on a bed behind her — as Harry comically juggles outside.
To mark her milestone birthday, Meghan has launched 40×40, a global project to encourage people around the world to commit to giving 40 minutes of their time to support women going back to work.
She has asked 40 activists, athletes, artists and world leaders to participate by contributing 40 minutes of mentorship to women re-entering the workforce.
Among those who have committed 40 minutes are singer Adele, poet Amanda Gorman, fashion designer Stella McCartney, and Sophie Gregoire Trudeau, the wife of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
Upon turning 40, Meghan said she was struck that “time” is “among our greatest and most essential gifts,” especially “time spent in service to others knowing that it can contribute to incredible change.”
She added: “I believe mentorship is one way to help women regain confidence and rebuild their economic strength, and for my birthday I have asked 40 friends, activists, athletes, artists and world leaders to help kick off a global effort by contributing 40 minutes of mentorship to support women re-entering the workforce.”
Prince Harry attempts to juggle in Meghan Markle’s 40th birthday video
At first, Harry, 36, stumbles with the balls and appears to fall over in the backyard of the couple’s California home. But then, he succeeds in his attempt at clownery and runs off the screen in excitement.
Neither Markle nor McCarthy, 50, can contain their laughter over Harry’s silliness.
In her first appearance since giving birth to daughter Lilibet Diana in June, Markle asks McCarthy to enlist activists, athletes and celebrities from around the world to spend 40 minutes mentoring women re-entering the workforce amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Because I’m turning 40, I’m asking 40 friends to donate 40 minutes of their time to help mentor a woman who is mobilizing back into the workforce,” she explains to McCarthy, who’s dressed like she’s going to a royal party and sipping tea, in the video.
“I think if we all do it and all commit 40 minutes to some act of service, we can create a ripple effect.”
