Gia Giudice called out her uncle Joe Gorga for posting his reunion with her father, Joe Giudice, on social media after bashing him for years on “Real Housewives of New Jersey.”
“This is honestly comical knowing you were with him for not even 5 minutes and [were] able to have somebody take a video of the interaction meanwhile all you have done is talked so poorly about my father,” the aspiring lawyer, 22, wrote in the comments section of Gorga’s Instagram post.
“you are such a [sic] opportunist to take advantage of the once in a lifetime opportunity to see my father and use it for a post.”
On Sunday, Gorga, 43, posted a clip of him embracing his former brother-in-law, 50, while on a vacation in the Bahamas — where Joe resides after being deported from the US — and captioned it, “Both walked into the same bar at the same time.”
“A lot of history there,” he added. “We have memories since we were kids. I’m happy he’s doing well and looks good. We were both happy to see each other and catch up. Glad someone caught it. #life #rhonj.”
Both men appeared happy to see each other and had big smiles on their faces. (Joe was previously married to Gorga’s sister, Teresa Giudice, for more than two decades and the exes share four daughters, including Gia.)
However, after Gia criticized her uncle for sharing the encounter with the public, Gorga wrote back, “we both said horrible things about each other. It was a nice moment. We have a lot of history. Get the hate out of your heart.”
Eagle-eye fans spotted that Gorga’s wife, Melissa Gorga, appeared to have written the clap-back comment first. However, the “RHONJ” star later denied it, stating her husband had accidentally written it from her account.
This is not the first time Gia has fought publicly with Gorga over his remarks about her father. In a heated episode on Season 12 of “RHONJ,” the college student called her uncle “disrespectful.”
Gorga has had a long history of issues with Joe, stemming back to claims that his brother-in-law drove a wedge between him and his now-deceased father.
