Jennifer Aniston says ‘there’s no oddness’ with Brad! Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt divorced many moons ago — and couldn’t be in a better place now, the “Friends” star says.
The actress said she had a blast starring alongside Pitt — whom she considers a pal — in a live table read of “Fast Times at Ridgemont High” this past fall.
“It was absolutely fun,” Aniston told Howard Stern in an interview this week (via People). “Brad and I are buddies, we’re friends.”
The Hollywood heavy hitters — who were married from 2000 to 2005 — played romantic interests during the table read, with Aniston portraying Linda (originally played by Phoebe Cates in the cult-classic movie) and Pitt reading for Brad (originally played by Judge Reinhold).
“And we speak, and there’s no oddness at all, except for everyone that probably watched it and was wanting there to be, or assumed there to be,” Aniston continued of her relationship with Pitt. “We had fun, and it was for a great cause, [Sean Penn’s nonprofit] CORE.”
Jennifer Aniston swears she never “banged” David Schwimmer — on a break or otherwise.
“We were in relationships and it was always never the right time and it wouldn’t have worked,” Aniston told Howard Stern Wednesday on his Sirius XM show. “The beauty of that was that whatever feelings we had we just literally channeled everything into Ross and Rachel and I think that’s maybe why it resonated the way it did.”
Ever the charmer, Stern asked Aniston, 52 — who was joined by her “Friends” co-stars and pals Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow — why she didn’t “bang” Schwimmer.
“He was lovely, David was great,” Aniston replied. “But no, we never, on my life [got together]. And Courteney and Lisa would know if it did because they would’ve heard about it. They can vouch for me,” she added, as Cox piped up and added that it was “true.”
“Howard’s not going to believe me,” Aniston then replied. “No, I would proudly say I banged Schwimmer if that happened. But no.”
