Shirley MacLaine’s daughter, Sachi Parker, is writing a memoir Lucky Me, sharing painful stories about growing up the daughter of a Hollywood star.
Shirley has issued a statement saying the book is; “virtually all fiction. I’m sorry to see such a dishonest, opportunistic effort from my daughter.”
However, one person who supports Sachi is Joan Crawford’s daughter, Christine Crawford – author of Mommy Dearest.
“Rob, this is a First Amendment right and I thought people would have learned by now that there is often a gigantic difference between private behavior and public image,” Christina tells Naughty But Nice Rob.
Sachi writes that she was sent to live in Japan with her dad, producer Steve Parker, and saw her mother in the summers.
