Paris Hilton says she was pressured into making sex tape with Rick Salomon
Paris Hilton says she was “uncomfortable” when her ex-boyfriend Rick Salomon asked her to make a sex tape with him.
“He had often said it was something he did with other women, but I felt weird and uncomfortable about it,” she writes.
“I always told him, ‘I can’t. It’s too embarrassing.’”
Hilton, who was 19 at the time, recalls Salomon threatening to “find someone” else to have sex with him on camera.
“That was the worst thing I could think of – to be dumped by this grown man because I was a stupid kid who didn’t know how to play grown-up games,” she writes of the famed gambler, who is more than 10 years her senior.
The reality TV star admits to drinking alcohol and taking quaaludes prior to shooting what would end up being known as “1 Night in Paris.”
Hilton says she begged Salomon — whom she doesn’t name but refers to by his nickname “Scum” — not to release the tape, but he refused to oblige, which made her feel as if her “life was over” and her “self-worth” was destroyed.
“My mom just crumpled into bed and stayed there,” she remembers. “My dad, red-faced and furious, worked the phones, calling lawyers, calling spin doctors, trying to help me marshal any hope of damage control.”
